CHET LOTT DONATES $125K TO SOUTHEAST MS RED CROSS
May 5, 2008
Chet Lott, son of retired U.S. Senator Trent Lott and Pascagoula native, wrote a song called "Erased It" after he witnessed the devastation of his family’s home and his entire hometown by Hurricane Katrina. That song turned into an entire CD. Chet chose to donate the proceeds to the Southeast MS Chapter, which is housed in a building named after his grandfather, the late Dr. Perry A. Thompson, Sr. Chet presented a check for $125,000 to the Chapter in December 2007. Visit Chet's website at www.chetlott.com.
