YOU MAKE US WHO WE ARE!

Any American Red Cross Chapter is only as good as its community makes it. We depend on your money, time and blood. Every Red Cross dollar is a donated dollar. Our workforce is 95% volunteer. We provide about 40% of the nation's blood supply.
The Southeast Mississippi Chapter has strong relationships throughout Jackson and George Counties. We work with schools and churches to provide shelter space and with local law enforcement agencies to provide security at our shelters and service centers. We are a member of South MS VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) and MS VOAD in order to maintain close relationships with other non-governmental organizations (NGO's) along the Coast and across the state. Local corporations and businesses help us with money, manpower and materials. We feel good about our place as a community leader, but we are always striving to be even better, even stronger.
That's where you come in. We want you to join us in our efforts to BE RED CROSS READY. Please sign up as a volunteer, take a health & safety course or train in disaster response, donate money to help keep our chapter operating. We are here for you and your family while also welcoming you into ours.
