SWINE FLU (H1N1) SERIOUS SITUATION

Good time for families, businesses and organizations to review and update preparedness plans
- Include face masks in your preparedness kit.
- Stocking extra food, water and supplies will reduce need to go out should the Swine Flu (H1N1) become more widespread.
- American Red Cross recommends storing a two-week supply of food and household necessities (detergent, toilet paper, etc.).
- A gallon of water per person per day should be stored in clean plastic containers.
- Include storing formula for infants, medications and extra pet food.

➢ Frequent hand washing
➢ Visit a doctor for flu-like symptoms.
