ARC Opens Cold Weather Shelter

Harrison County- Isaiah Fredricks Community Center, 3312 Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard, Gulfport MS 39501; this shelter will open in partnership with Feed My Sheep, who will deliver and serve evening meals, and provide morning meals at their facility. 

Coast Transit Authority will provide transportation to this shelter along bus route 37 between the hours of 3:40pm and 7pm Thursday and Friday nights.  Buses will also run from the shelter to Feed My Sheep at 8am on Friday and Saturday mornings. Hancock County- LESM (Formerly known as Lagniappe Church), 647 Demontluzin Ave, Bay St. Louis MS 39520; this shelter will open in partnership with Lutheran Episcopal Services of Mississippi (LESM). These shelters are open to all (men, women and children); guests can check in as early as 4:00pm.  Pets, alcohol and weapons will not be allowed.  This shelter will remain open until weather conditions improve or until further notice.
